Conclave follows one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events – selecting the new Pope. Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is tasked with running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope. Lawrence uncovers a trail of deep secrets left in the dead Pope’s wake, secrets which could shake the foundations of the Church.
In an age where every theatrical release seems to be stacked with a some 500 million dollar budget, explosions action horror and the like to keep its audience engaged, Conclave is refreshingly different.
Great dialogue, set designs, Director of Photography work and score to carry this film into a mesmerising, suspenseful bliss.
