The Harlem Cultural Festival was filmed in Mount Morris Park (now Marcus Garvey Park). This Oscar-winning documentary stands as a testament to the healing power of music during times of unrest, both past and present. 

Part of Hidden Beach - Summer of Culture, a cultural programme rooted in music, creativity and shared experience, based in Hastings and St Leonards.

From live performances and film nights to workshops, wellbeing activities and community meals, the programme invites people to engage in ways that feel open, welcoming and accessible.
