DIRECTORS

Julia Andrews-Clifford curates the film programme, working with local partners to bring our eclectic programme to life. Julia has 25 years experience in cinemas and film education, working at the British Film Institute, Cineclub and the Independent Cinema Office in London.
Antonia Clarke is responsible for leading all finance and compliance activities for the cinema; focusing on customer growth and financial stability. Antonia has extensive experience in project management supporting large-scale regulatory and IT transformation programmes.
BACK OF HOUSE

Gareth Jenkinson handles all our technical needs and is responsible for sound and vision at the cinema making sure that our screenings and events look and sound their best. Gareth has supported the creation, production and
presentation of film, theatre, live art and music through a variety of roles: highlights include tutoring at Goldsmiths, touring internationally as production manager of physical theatre companies and working in the Time Based Media department of Tate Galleries.
Kate Hodges runs our social media, website and marketing. Kate has over 30 years experience in journalism and marketing, having been a staffer on The Face, Bizarre Magazine and Just Seventeen. She has written 10 books that have sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.
Nadine Keats manages front of house and our team of volunteer ushers. Nadine has wide experience in customer service, originally in investment banking and more recently in hospitality and retail.
Ben Wright stocks our bar and kiosk each week and keeps our house in order. Ben is a born-and-bred local with a decade of experience working in hospitality in Hastings from independent restaurants to local craft breweries.
FRONT OF HOUSE
Gareth Jenkinson wearing a different hat manages the screening team and regularly screens throughout the week.
Silas Money hosts regular screenings throughout the week. Silas takes care of our projection, sound and lighting during screenings and leads our Family Flicks screenings and workshops. As a graduate of the Royal College of Art with a background in film and animation, Silas has many years of experience in arts education and has collaborated with a number of film festivals.
Rebecca Youseffi hosts regular screenings throughout the week. Rebecca does our projection, sound and lighting during screenings. Rebecca is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice includes moving image and sound. She has presented live art at venues including Jackson's Lane, Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery and the Gulbenkian Arts Centre
VOLUNTEERS

Our team of usher volunteers are the people who meet and greet you at the door and work hard to ensure you have the best possible movie-going experience at the Electric Palace!
What brings us together is a love of cinema and a sense of community.
