Lazy Girls Film Club hosts a collage workshop dedicated to ‘Women Wandering’, tying in with a screening of Agnès Varda’s Vagabond.
Join us for an afternoon of crafting inspired by films depicting women adrift in the world. Using a variety of materials, including magazines, maps, and film stills, we’ll explore women in urban and rural landscapes, creating images that evoke the freedom, danger, and possibility that travelling brings.
Everything you need to create a collage or mini zine will be provided on the day, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own materials to help you create a personal work of art. Collaging is a fun and relaxing activity that allows you to express yourself through creative use of found images and objects.
The £10 ticket price includes all materials, a hot drink, and a sweet treat. Spaces are very limited and previous workshops have all sold out, so please book to secure your place.
Ages 15 and up.
Please note: This event will take place in our upstairs workshop space - it's bright and spacious with gorgeous views over Hastings Old Town. Upon arrival, please head up the stairs, past the cinema room entrance and up to the second floor.
