Film premiere of Funnel, a surreal hand-made film incorporating elements of black comedy and pathos from Hastings artist and musician, Haydn Cornner.

This evening will include aspects of seminar, film and musical performance followed by discussion with the director and composer. A unique and rare treat!
Funnel - an animated film by Haydn Cornner:
1. A surreal animation in which the Emperor of Everything decides to make a new world called Funnel. He experiments with a human pea, called Hope, by placing him inside the world and watching how he gets on. With some songs and original music score by Henry Bristow.
2. A short film and personal appearance by Experimental Music Composer, Otto Fog. He will be presenting an except from
his work 'Warmeflaschenmusik' (Hot Water Bottle Music). Otto Fog is renowned for using unusual instrumentation in his music.
Warmeflaschenmusik is his first work since his groundbreaking piece 'Variations for Duck Call and Vacuum Cleaner'.
3. Also, a short film by Steve Bowditch.
Haydn Cornner has worked as an illustrator and artist and is a member of Ore Synthesizer Club.
