It's been a while, but you asked and we deliver - by popular demand, parent and baby screenings are BACK!
Bring along your babe for a monthly screening exclusively for parents/carers with babies under 12 months (no older children allowed, sorry). Babies go free! Grab your chance to see new releases and reconnect with your cultural selves.
Babies can sleep, burble or cry, and parents/carers get a chance to catch up with some cinema. These screenings will also include Descriptive Subtitling when available and the sound will be lower than usual, and the lights up for your child's comfort.
Parent & Baby screenings coming up:
Firebrand - Friday 4 October, 12pm
Whip-smart historical drama bristling with court intrigue, with a terrifically tyrannical Jude Law as King Henry VIII and Alicia Vikander as Catherine Parr.
Starve Acre - Friday 1 November, 12pm
Dark and sinister forces invade an archaeologist's home as he investigates a mythic folklore about an ancient oak tree on his land. A stylish adaptation of Andrew Michael Hurley's folk horror novel, starring Matt Smith.
"Finally, an independent cinema in Hastings that shows films for parents where you can bring your baby, have a hot chocolate and enjoy the latest releases. Thank you Electric Palace for making us so welcome!" - Trina Everall
Important information about buggies and prams:
We have restarted these screenings due to popular demand, however the cinema is not accessible for buggies due to our steep staircase, and so all parents are kindly asked to bring their babies in a sling for the screenings as we have no buggy park or lift access and cannot accommodate any buggies/prams. Please take extra special care on the stairs.
Please note that babies (under 12 months) are only allowed to attend our special Parent & Baby and Relaxed screenings, and may not be brought in to our regular screenings.
We are also unable to allow children over 12 months to these screenings. But we do have a range of family friendly screenings available, including Family Fridays events! See What's On for more details.
