For World Environment Day 2026 we bring you the beautiful celtic animation 'Song of the Sea'. Ben, a young Irish boy and his little sister, Saoirse, a girl who can turn into a seal, go on an adventure to free the fairies and save the spirit world. 

Family Fridays with Green Screen for World Environment Day. Green Screen is the Electric Palace's newest screening strand, showing films with an environmental theme followed by discussion and inspiration for direct, hopeful action against climate change. 

Supported by Hastings Voluntary Action, in partnership with local community partners and LandXSea Environmental Festival, our twin cinema in Montrose, Scotland.

Family Fridays screenings include a FREE themed workshop before the film led by animator and teacher, Silas Money.
