Wim Wenders’ acclaimed 1999 documentary follows a group of Cuban musicians who reunite later in life to record an album and share their music with the world.
The film traces their journey from Havana rehearsal rooms to international stages, capturing friendships, stories and the deep musical traditions that shaped their lives. Through intimate portraits and unforgettable performances, we see how music carries memory, identity and connection across generations.
Following the screening, there will be a facilitated conversation inviting the audience to reflect on the film’s themes and the cultural context surrounding the music and the artists.
