Whoopi returns to the convent, turning rebellious teenagers into a show-stopping choir, with gospel, attitude and plenty of heavenly harmonies.
Deloris (Whoopi Goldberg) has returned reluctantly to the convent. Just in time to rescue a troubled school and its unruly students. With a little help from the nuns, she turns a bunch of sulky teenagers into a brilliant gospel choir — and gives them something worth singing about.
Join us for a soulful night of music, film & singing. We will be kicking off the night with a special film introduction by Choir Leader Deanne Naula from Afri-Co-Lab's new choir The Naulettes. This Festive Blackity Black edition screening of Sister Act 2 is part of Blackity Black, co-curated by Anna Maria Nabirye and in partnership with Afri-co-Lab, shining a spotlight on black excellence in the film and TV industries.
