Strong direction and an arresting sense of visual style make this vampire love triangle, lo-fi flick a treat for fans of off-kilter horror.
This is the 37th no-budget film by Oklahoma musician-turned-filmmaker Mickey Reece. Also known as “the Flyover Fassbinder” or “the Backwoods Bergman”. Almost a pastiche of 70s erotic horror, it tells the tale of two middle-aged sisters competing to woo their lothario house guest. A house guest who sleeps during the day, is allergic to garlic and is very gruff.
Camp, very low-budget, and extremely odd. Dive in!
