Queer Film Night
1 Hr 37 mins / 2011 / UK
British director, Andrew Haigh's classic debut feature before the BAFTA and Oscar nominated sensation of All of Us Strangers (2023). The film follows Russell who after a drunken house party with his straight mates, heads out to a gay club. Just before closing time he picks up Glen but what's expected to be just a one-night stand becomes something else, something special.
A (sort of) love story between two guys over a cold weekend in October and a modern queer classic presented by Peccadillo Pictures, with specially recorded introduction from Andrew Haigh
Stick around after the film for a Q&A with Chris New, lead actor who plays Glen and Paul Burston, Polari Book Club and LGBT editor of Time Out for 20 years.
