Director: NA
Cast includes: NA
workshop Hosted by Dear Future Festival
Presented by Dear Future, a live cinema organisation. Dear Future explores ways of thinking into the future by bringing together film, conversation and creativity.
Clare Whistler and Rebecca E Marshall with Deborah Kelly offer this special workshop. You will be guided through an experiential exploration amongst the trees as a form of woodland meditation.
The workshop incorporates the Shinrin Yoku techniques of Forest Bathing. Shinrin in Japanese means “forest,” and yoku means “bath.”
We consider the marks we leave as messages - unwitting or deliberate and find ways to collect traces.
Rebecca will film our traces to make a collection of film clips. She will use these to perform a live mix ‘The Marks We Leave’ at The Electric Palace Saturday 28th October at 7.30pm at the screening of A Year in a Field.
Bring appropriate clothing whatever the weather and refreshments.
12 participants maximum
£10 per person.
Strictly bookings only. If you have further questions about the workshop email dearfuturefilms@gmail.com
Meet in the Powdermill Wood car park, Powdermill Wood, Powdermill Lane, Battle TN33 0SU at 1.30pm. Event ends at 4.30pm.
