Soundtrack to the Stars - STEMS

This new, truly awesome performance brings to life scenes from our solar system and deep space. The musicians are a group called STEMS who create original material with the energy of rock music but with the elongated and elaborate structures of Western and Indian classical music. With influences ranging from Sigur Ros and The Velvet Underground to Stravinsky and Arvo Part, STEMS have developed a reputation for intense and beautiful concerts.

PLUS Rebecca E Marshall gives a live reading with film from her latest work ‘Fever of The Light’. This is a supporting event for her exhibition at The blackShed Gallery, which runs from 17 February - 31 March.
