Screening as part of our Art of Action season, see the original Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn at his swashbuckling best (in his snazzy tights!) with Olivia de Havilland as Maid Marian.
This is a fun classic swordplay movie full of adventure, romance, with a healthy dose of laughs. Errol Flynn by far gives the most credible performance of the Robin Hood character. He oozes charm and wit here. This film is a great trip back to a special time in movie making when we didn't need extreme sex and violence to entertain us. If you have children, or if you love to feel like one, then join us for this fabulous film classic!
Wing Chun swordplay workshop
Before the screening we are delighted to welcome 1066 Wing Chun to lead a basic Kung Fu and Swordplay workshop!
1066 Wing Chun runs local Kung Fu workshops based a fighting system that can help you defend yourself by being faster and more efficient to overcome size and strength. This session will be led by female instructor Simo Sarah who is driven to help people and animals protect themselves and improve their lives and to make the world a better place.
Come early to make the most of this unique opportunity!
