Awarded the Camera d’Or for Best First Film at last year’s Cannes film Festival, this coming-of-age story centres on Julija (a radiant Gracija Filipović), whose life alternates between her family and her love of the sea. Set on a stunning Croatian island, Julija spends hours immersed in the mesmerising sea, diving, swimming, dreaming, and eventually finding solace from the growing oppression from a traditional father.
