The story follows Neo (Keanu Reeves), a hacker who stumbles across the truth about reality and joins a rebellion led by the mysterious Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and the fearless Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss). Together, they must wage war against the machines and their simulated manifestation, Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving).
