We are incredibly fortunate to have a vibrant filmmaking community in and around Hastings and St. Leonards, and we are thrilled to announce our first local filmmaker showcase! This exciting event will feature seven short non-fiction projects, all directed exclusively by local talent.

The selected projects span the diverse and creative spectrum of non-fiction, from observational and investigative pieces to experimental and whimsical works, and they showcase the wide range of experience and talent within our local area. For documentary enthusiasts and the vibrant filmmaking community alike, we can't wait to bring everyone together for what promises to be a very special night.

About Doc Club

Luke Brawley

At Doc Club screenings, join for a taste of the very best documentaries from around the world - plus have a drink and chat with other doc fans after the film if you want  to stay (no pressure and all very informal!).

Doc Club aims to present and hidden gems that you would not otherwise get to see in the UK as they haven't been picked up by the mainstream - and the Electric Palace is proud to be able to share these rare finds with you!

Doc Club is curated by Luke Brawley, ex-Dogwoof Film Distributor and documentary film fanatic.
