Inspired by the wonderfully rich and iconic scenescapes that have become the signature of Studio Ghibli. Collage diorama making at the Electric Palace with artist Tiger-lily Martinez.
Immerse yourself further into the worlds of your favourite Studio Ghibli characters, from Porco Rosso's island cove to Totoro's tree, assemble your own miniature paper landscape or hideaway, reminiscent of tatebanko.
Enjoy 3D paper-collaging with film stills and more, to accompany the screening of Hayao Miyazaki's most recent masterpiece The Boy and the Heron screening at the Electric Palace.
Places limited, all ages welcome.
Over 12s can come along on their own, but under 12s need to be accompanied by an adult (only the person partaking in the workshop needs to purchase a ticket).
Spaces for the workshop will be limited to 10.
Please book in advance to secure your place. Course runs from 2.30pm - 5pm.
