Punk Choir Celebrates 3rd Birthday with Cinema Fundraiser

Our resident cinema punks sing it loud with other local acts on Saturday 2 November 2024 at the Jenny Lind, to raise funds for the Electric Palace and the Punk Choir.

Join Hastings Punk Choir for its 3rd birthday celebration on Saturday 2 November 2024.

Hastings Punk Choir fundraiser posterTaking place at Jenny Lind pub in Hastings Old Town (opposite the Electric Palace) from 1pm, Hastings Punk Choir invites you to celebrate its third year in operation, with special guests (some of) Frank From Blue Velvet, The Punkuleles and DJs Feebs, Tara T and Vinyl Tap!

The event is a fundraiser for Electric Palace and the choir, which rehearses in the Electric Palace auditorium every week, and the birthday bash promises to be a riotously fun afternoon of music and hearty celebration.

Punk Choirmaster Tom Elvy says about the event:

"Come and join us for a fun and informal daytime session! There will be great music, thirst quenching drinks (thanks Jenny Lind!) and a lot of laughter! It will be a great celebration of the incredible journey the punk choir has been on - I never dreamt we would be filling up the Electric Palace on a Monday evening in the depths of winter, yet the punks still come out! It's also lovely to support the Electric Palace (our spiritual home) and say thank you to them for hosting us in such a beautiful community space."

We hope you can make it along to show your support for the choir's fundraising efforts for the cinema.
