Klim Forster Film Stills exhibition

Enjoy seeing rare photos of stars of yesteryear in our new exhibition of stills, donated to us by the family of the late Klim Forster.

You're invited to come along to view our upcoming photography exhibition: the Klim Forster Stills Collection of film stars from the golden age of Hollywood, on display soon and throughout February.

The Klim Forster Stills Collection is an archive of original film stills from the 1950s to the 1990s donated to The Electric Palace by the late Klim Forster.

Klim Forster was a freelance illustrator at the Evening Standard from the 1950s to the 1990s. We thank his wife, Jenny Forster for her generosity.

The framed still photographs will be unveiled at a Friends of the Electric Palace-only launch event in January, and will then be on display for all visitors to the cinema to enjoy before our screenings.

As it's also Oscars and our Stars on Screen mini-season we'll be shining a spotlight on actors throughout February in the run up to the BAFTAs and the Oscars. So it's the perfect time to revisit the greats of classic cinema and celebrate the starlets, hunks and lovers from the films of the past.
