Rebecca Marshall, co-director at Electric Palace cinema said:
“We’re so pleased to be part of this initiative to help make the cinema more accessible to the next generation. Electric Palace has been in Hastings for 15 years, offering a wide choice of alternative films alongside blockbuster classics and film-related events. We’ve got a fantastic programme lined up over the next few months and we hope to welcome as many people as possible to catch a film.”
Electric Palace cinema is a member of Film Hub South East (FHSE), which is part of the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN). FAN's mission is to expand audience access to and knowledge of specialised and British Independent film in the South East. FHSE will be gathering feedback from audiences to screenings within the participating venues to help improve cinema experiences for younger audiences.
