Pauline Black performingPauline Black: A 2-Tone Story

Saturday 9 November, 3pm

Pauline Black, lead singer of 2-Tone hit band The Selecter, tells her extraordinary life story in the same frank manner that helped shape her as an iconic, era-defining female musician. The Friday night screening will include a Q&A with director Jane Mingay hosted by Ray Gange.

Dory Previn Dory Previn: On the Way to There

Saturday 9 November, 7.30pm

Dory Previn became an unlikely cult artist in the Laurel Canyon scene, after a tabloid scandal and public breakdown erupted her former life writing lyrics for Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland & Dionne Warwick. The film taps archives for a story in Previn’s voice. J. Smith-Cameron (SUCCESSION) reads the voices in Dory’s head.
