See Luke's handpicked choices each month - a mixture of contemporary and timeless documentaries from around the world.
"Being able to see the film as a communal experience, and being able to discuss with others is what Doc Club is all about," says Luke.
Taking place monthly on Sunday evenings, see what's coming up in the first season of Doc Club:
Apolonia, Apolonia
Sunday 12 May 2024
Directed by Lea Glob.
Doc Club presents this fascinating exploration of the modern female artist experience in this journey into art, motherhood and relationships.
Filmed over 13 years by director Lea Glob and centred around the career of French artist Apolonia Sokol, the film unfolds as a contemplative exploration of the challenging, modern female artist experience.
"This screening is extra special as the film currently does not have UK distribution so this is a rare opportunity to see the film on the big screen, perhaps the only time! With Hastings being a town full of creatives, we are sure tickets will go quickly so run don’t walk!" says Luke.
