Sign up to attend a new Spoken Word writing course at Hastings Writers Workshop at the Electric Palace cinema.
Led by the brilliant multi-disciplinary performance artist Naomi Wood, this ten-week programme is based on the belief that writing should be playful, cathartic and fun, so participants will cultivate tools for a committed and enriching connection to their writing practice, considering a diverse range of skills and techniques focusing on both writing and performance.
The Hastings Writers Workshop spoken word workshop takes place on Tuesday evenings, from 6.30-8pm, starting on 19/9/23 and finishing on 21/11/23.
The ten-week programme costs £180, and two reduced-price places are available in each group for those who are unwaged or on a low income.
All workshops take place upstairs at The Electric Palace cinema in Hastings Old Town. Workshop members are entitled to a 15% discount on books bought at The Hastings Bookshop during their course and for one month afterwards.
