Iran's beloved satirist Mehran Modiri switches genres to a time-ticking thriller. Philosophy student Sara plans to leave at 6am for Toronto where she will study for a PhD, but a friend insists she attends one last farewell gathering.
As the evening unfolds, a series of seemingly small decisions spiral into tense and unforeseen consequences, revealing how fragile freedom and control can be.
