Rose of Nevada (Subtitled) (15)

Screen, Thursday 2 Jul 2026, 11:00  - ends at 13:00

The third film in Mark Jenkin’s Cornish trilogy, this time-slipping, unsettling ghost ship story explores a claustrophobic coastal community.

When a boat lost for 30 years mysteriously reappears, two men join its crew, only to enter a strange temporal shift. Mark Jenkin’s 16mm visuals and immersive sound design create a haunting, tactile atmosphere and critics praise its craftsmanship, performances, and eerie mood.

This enigmatic drama is steeped in loss, memory and the disconcerting rhythms of coastal life. Recommended by our very own head projectionist Gareth Jenkinson who will introduce this Thursday morning screening. Part of the Mark Jenkins' Cornish Trilogy and EP Recommends.
