James Endeacott's Music Meltdown

James Endeacott's Music Meltdown

Tuesday 30 Jun 2026

Wild of hair and brimming with tall tales, broadcaster, tastemaker and record label guru, James Endeacotts life has been lived through music. From playing guitar in the 1980s alternative band Loop to working with world-defining acts like The Strokes and The Libertines during his time at Rough Trade (and later launching 1965 Records), James's ear for an infectious hook is unmatched. These days, he brings that same eclectic taste to his beloved Morning Glory breakfast show on Soho Radio and compilations like Unlock Your Mind.

This summer he curates our annual Music Meltdown. From DREAMING OF YOU: THE MAKING OF THE CORAL with an in-person director Q&A, to YOU'RE GONNA MISS ME, a documentary tracing the rollercoaster life of psychedelic cosmic-naut Roky Erickson and BE HERE TO LOVE ME, which chronicles the turbulent times of alt.country godfather Townes Van Zandt. Plus a super-rare screening of ultra-cult punk flick, THE FABULOUS STAINS.
