Please visit Ed's website to let him know what you'd like to play, or just turn up early (7pm).
The songs are usually easy to play - Guthrie's genius was to put profound ideas and great storytelling into songs that are open to all to sing and play.
You can choose any Guthrie song, including any of the Guthrie words put to music by other musicians such as the brilliant Billy Bragg/Wilco tracks. Woody often adapted old songs to new places, situations and for new stories. We don’t reckon he’d mind if you did the same.
Tickets are available in advance online from this website, or on the door.
Doors and the bar open at 7.15pm, screenings start at 8pm.
Hire the Electric Palace for all kinds of events, including private film screenings, parties, meetings, gigs, festivals and rehearsals.
