Fritz Lang's masterpiece Metropolis, with live soundtrack

PJ (Paul) Hines creates an immersive industrial/classical hybrid soundtrack to the most influential science-fiction film of all time, Metropolis. This pioneering film presents a highly stylized futuristic city where a beautiful and cultured utopia exists above a bleak underworld populated by mistreated workers.
Paul Hines became a founder and core creative member of Test Dept in 1980 until 1986, then he moved to Berlin. He has composed and recorded soundtracks for Berlin-based dance company Kompanie van Vark and has worked for and produced many musical artists with performances and co-produtions in Germany, UK, Bulgaria, Russia, USA and Canada.
Hines has worked as a DJ since 1990, performing as King Slug. Returning to the UK in 2004, Paul founded the Serum Electronique Orchestra and the Squeaky Clean Studios. He now lives in Hastings, East Sussex.
