Forest Paintings by Glenys Jacques
Throughout this Spring you can see works from local artist Glenys Jacques in the cinema auditorium.
"In the spirit of the changing season, over the next three months, I will paint the changes and replace the paintings as the light returns and forests spread their arms," says Glenys of her show at the cinema.
Many of the works on display are inspired by notable people of merit including artists, writers, scientists and musicians:
They took all the trees
Put 'em in a tree museum
And they charged the people
A dollar and a half to see 'em
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got
'Til it's gone...
is in the eyes of others only a green thing which stands in their way.
Glenys's artwork is also for sale. Email Glenys for further details.
